Being There
There have been some lovely sunrises (and sunsets) lately, maybe its got something to do with the angle of the sun and time of the year. Anyways, its been a joy to paint outdoors in such conditions because the temperatures have been unseasonably warm for winter in these parts. I feel that being there when the sun rises and sets and attempting to paint that phenomena is a rich experience that enriches my life.

Deep Dark Woods Day Two
Its day two for Deep Dark Woods, I'm not scared any more. Its just paint and I have lots of it. After all, painting in the end is all about the paint on a two dimensional surface, which many of us forget. The big guy did a great job of his side of things and its up to me to do my own version of "that". Its all fun.
